crazy how im getting dopamine over dopamine detoxing videos
The best dopamine detox video that I’ve seen. At 65, I’ve watched my life go down the toilet since Facebook, apps, Smartphones, iPads. I remember my life before personal technology as being more full, pursuing sports, music, creativity, and IRL social experiences. Now, I say I can live anywhere as long as there’s internet and my life Will basically be the same, scrolling my way to death. Even though I’ve taken advantage of many positive aspects of YouTube (learning to play piano, ukulele, violin; pursuing the great philosophers and books with inspiring guidance, support in making positive changes in my life like yourself), I find myself seeking more videos than doing the actual activities. I’ve become a passive observer of life rather than an active participant. I’ll have to dig deep and make the commitment to launch this sorely needed detox. Thank you for your clarity, insight, and completeness.
"It's not about deleting social media permanently or setting a rule to never indulge in any instant gratification activities again. Rather, it's important to be intentional about what you consume." Loved it✨

I’m at day 16 of dopamine detox and no plans of stopping. My dopamine system is just starting to adjust from the HUGE imbalance I created. I will make this a lifestyle.
I'm in med school, I spent 10 hours on my phone today, and I have an exam on Thursday and haven't started yet. This upload came at the right time, thank you ❤️
I regained control for nearly 2 years now. And most of this video is on point. I got help from a addiction counselor, because I failed so often by doing it myself. Since then my life improved sooo much. I got tears in my eyes watching this video and was so happy, that I started my journey.
We need more people just like this. Just finished reading book called The 21 Former Doctor Secrets by Rachel Morgan and its so fascinating what modern indrustry hides
I tried dopamine detox for 24h and made me realize how INSANELY addicted to my phone I actually was. I'm now going to use your protocol and go for full week detox. Thanks for the advice and the good content, keep up the good work ❤️
Currently on my discipline phase where I slowly removing bad habits such as bringing phone while taking a dump, scrolling to my phone while eating, and scrolling through to social media after heading to bed. It was hard to kill an old habit but I can certainly do it with an intention to change especially I am on the verge of jealousy towards my peers’ career. I will be turning turning 25 this year yet I feel like I didn’t achieve anything. But I do have a goal to continuously working on improving and to become financial literate in the future so I have been working so hard to get back also to minimalism as I am working on my habits. Thank you so much for this additional knowledge and tips. 😊
A key to succeeding in dopamine detox is having goals and habits to fill in the time that was once occupied by social media, substances, and unhealthy tendencies. If you decide to dopamine detox cold turkey without a plan of what you're going to spend your time with, you'll go crazy. I try reading more, learning things I've always wanted to learn but never actual got around to, and exercising. Doing this is so satisfying in the healthiest way, and you can feel that you're doing better internally!
Well, I've just come back after absolutely messing up an exam and I feel terrible and exhausted, that yet again I feel this sense of regret. Not because I failed it but because I didn't perform to my potential at all. And I've realized that the root cause of this is all the small bad habits which I've been doing everyday. Whether it's scrolling through youtube mindlessly, or playing video games or over using social media, all these factors contribute to how I've been performing academically and mentally too. It's a blessing that I've found this video, and now I know exactly how I can be who I want to be. Thank you for being a changing point in someone's life and keep it the good work man! Will post results after a week or 2 of my detox! Edit: Update Comment below! Thank you everyone
Everything you despise about yourself is actually a caring and protective part of you, even the self-harming part, which uses the physical pain as a buffer against the more excruciating emotional pain it perceives. If you took the time to listen to this part of you and love it back, it could become your greatest asset!
The fact that nobody talks about the book Dopamine Enigma Unveiled, speaks volumes about how people are stuck in a trance.
I’ve recently lost control again and realized this cycle keep’s continuing. I always go on a dopamine detox but not in a healthy or super intentional way, usually as a last ditch SOS because I’ve lost myself. This video educated me on what I’ve been trying to do and how to use it intentionally and before things get so bad.

this video actually set my mood high and now I feel so motivated to strive for a better life, for a better me. I won't be consummed by socials, controlled by junk food and feeling like shit after I accomplished nothing all day. I will be productive and live at 100%. I hope everyone sees this and convert to a healthy BALANCE, meaning YES we can use socials, watch netflix, drink or eat good stuff but at the end of the day you have to say 'okay, I treated MYSELF well. I VALUED my time, I VALUED the people around me' .
0:04 l'm totally looking like this while watching this video 😂
I feel attacked but I needed the wake up call ngl🥲
