10mm 1.25mm pitch is m10 fine standard pitch

That looked like an 8.8 grade bolt, which when hollowed out will be even weaker. Be careful around that fitting.

Great stopgap move! Now replace that thing with the correct part ASAP! The steel in a hardware store bolt will never hold up in that application.
