I think the group of women were celebrating TEEJ(a nepali festival mainly celebrated by women during this time). Its a very wholesome festival. Edit: I’m so shocked with the amount of likes and comments but sorry that I called TEEJ a ‘nepali’ festival instead of a Hindu festival because it is a hindu festival but comparatively i think Hindu people in Nepal greatly enjoy TEEJ more than other Hindus. And the people also seemed Nepali with the ornaments and all so. For anyone interested you guys can check out the song ‘Teej ko rahara aayo bari lai’ because you will absolutely love it though some mayn’t be able to understand the lyrics.
