@angelaheimbecker2165

Oh they were listening...they just did not give a 💩 and wanted to get the people out!!!

@geroellheimer

After what happened in Hawaii, I pay close attention to details and I suspect that Jasper Alberta was already subject to DEW at that time. Some trees surprisingly survived or only a half tree towards a house burned 1:18 - 1:34. Whats the history of J.A.? let me guess: the citizens where autonomous and not controllable by the government?

@mikeg983

Is it so awesome that we sent 500 million to Ukraine and we still don't have enough money to fight fires. Thanks Trudeau!

@DKTYY

Remind me of Lahina, and Californis fires

@Jab-vl3bw

The people of Jasper should sue the federal gov't!

@Barnes466

allowed to happen 100%...

@chrisb-rx9wk

My bc town is surrounded by pine beetle wood. The forests are full of old dead brush. Its only a matter of time. They know but would rather waste money on bs.

@Fasmed-zr1vf

Every centre in the woods should have a cleared area at least.5 kilometers distance in every direction.we live in a time of fools at the wheel.

@WiseToTheLies

15 min city incoming to Jasper

@zsoltkarner2698

Santa Rosa, Fort Mc Murrey, Maui, so on.... Same pictures ! Alloy wheels are melting, some trees are just fine next to the burned down home etc.

@MsMelanie123

Trees standing homes demolished that is not a forest fire....

@RetroRocketReview

Parks Canada tree removal Permit? that is insane if the whole forest is a death trap and it all needs to go

@FairyFrequency

Thanks for the news Dan. Sending love and peaceful energy from the creeks and woodland of Missouri.

@ABBAinAlberta

ohhh come on!

its called....ARSON-GOV. SANTIONED ARSON.

@jonahcurrie387

I wonder if these fires were deliberately set ? Like in Hawaii and Lytton ? 😢

@Alog74

Anyone else notice that when you go to a comment on here and check the replies it shows absolutely nothing. So crazy. They see us but we also see them.

Alberta's aging forests increase risk of 'catastrophic fires': 2012 report Edmonton Journal
“Before major wildfire suppression programs, boreal forests historically burned on an average cycle ranging from 50 to 200 years as a result of lightning and human-caused wildfires,” the panel found in a report released in 2012.

“Wildfire suppression has significantly reduced the area burned in Alberta’s boreal forest. However, due to reduced wildfire activity, forests of Alberta are aging, which ultimately changes ecosystems and is beginning to increase the risk of large and potentially costly catastrophic wildfires.”

@BushcraftQuebec

Park Canada need to understand that 5000 conifer tree PER HECTAR hit with a beattle . You need a forest engineer and a prescription

@NotaBInMyH
