Hang on. How can a solid moon crash into a gas giant planet? The planet is made from gas isn't it!? And how can a planet be made of gas anyway? Clearly there are gaps in my knowledge and have always been too embarrassed to ask for an explanation, that I actually understand, about how planets can be made of gas and not rock, or are the gas planets a mix of both gas AND rock, but with gas making up a much, much larger portion of the mix than rock? Or am I wrong about that too? Please don't be mean if choosing to answer, I just do not know as much about space and planets and other things to do with that subject, but do want to learn, so please be kind. Thanking you in advance.๐
My what!? .. oh! The planet..of course. Bizzare indeed
Itโs all speculation ๐they donโt know for sure!
