If you decide to do something somebody else can do but doesnt want to is a job. Now if you can do something that most cant, like mechanic, plumbing, electrician, roofer, in a field that it takes knowledge, experience, and a considerable investment of your life to hone and sharpen those skills, is when a job turns into a trade. You can be good at fixing your car, but knowledge of how to fix a wide range of cars effeciently makes you valuable. Those skills come by investing time toward that trade. Pumping gas will not make you a mechanic. A good trade school is a solid start and it gives you the exposure so if you think you want to be a mechanic then find out you hate hot shops, long hours, fussy customers, and being dirty all the time you will have the opportunity change your direction before a large portion of your life is invested.
Getting a job is validation, in that sense. But it's a stone in the path, is not the entire road.
💯
This is so real
Getting a job is someone paying for your skills? This doesn't make sense
