Both but alt first after big 4 not 3
Upgrade your alternator then run 2 new batteries. You don’t want to buy a new battery then connect it to a 2 year old battery or just do dual batteries and make sure you have a good alt
You dont need any upgrades unless u have over a 2k amp
And the epic amplifier?
I literally have been trying to break it down to this kid about the same topic. Runs a 14 inch Memphis thinks he’s running 3k flat on a stock alternator and battery. Runs at 11-12.8 volts. Car dies at full power. He thinks alright so if I go to a smaller subs 10s and then run 2500 or 3k I’ll b good. I’m telling him you haven’t even experienced the maximum potential of your 14. The alternator specifically is running Marjority of the car let alone supply voltage for the batteries as well. Doesn’t want to build a new box for the mean time or run it at 1100rms under because it’s “ not enough” he’s also got like 200 rms door speakers to make the situation 10x better 😂😂. All this extra money he throws at new subwoofers could have been spent on new electrical upgrades but refuses to. He’s heard this several times from a variety of other people. U tell him how to achieve the power he wants he goes “ so can I run more power” and I tell him not till your electrical upgrades and just ghosts me come back two weeks later ask me “ another dude thinks I haven’t even experienced the full potential of the subwoofer” I just say “ yes” 😂😂😂 sorry bruh had to rant 130ampere alternator btw. You also forgot “ it takes money to make power” 😂jk
Get an alternator 1st so your battery takes the abuse instead of getting a battery so your alternator gets abused
Alternator always first and battery last
use a big capacitor would also help the energy drain
Both
