Civic Studies should be put back into School Curriculum everywhere inside India. We used to have it in the 80’s, growing up. Education and Rules (Laws) without the infrastructure and funding to support its implementation is nothing but wasted effort. When any new program is devised, there needs to be funding and resources to sustain it. Reinforcing (sustained education) is absolutely important. Work closely with Schools so as to catch those young minds early. Work with Opinion Makers (and Celebrities). Create incentives, and also consider Gamifying good habits when it comes to marketing Change ideas. Sponsorship programs. Adoption programs, find Private partners to take up sponsorship or adoption of implementation corridors. Start more Repair Cafe branches. Repair, Reuse, and Reduce. Too many more ideas to list here.
