I hope Firefox can find a way to continue. Otherwise, the chrome monopoly on the internet just gets stronger, which is a bad thing.

@scottjohnson5449

this is what happens when you make a deal with the DEVIL.

@zetectic7968

Thunderbird was spun off from Mozilla a few years ago. It is separate from FF so will probably not die if the browser does.

@soulaesthete8563

Today's Firefox almost has a chromium "feel," which I don't like. I prefer the Floorp browser because it's based on Mozilla Firefox and has the Gecko engine. It's open source and highly customizable. It works like the old Firefox used to work and is my default browser. I love it!

@UmbrellaCorp-d7x

It really doesn't matter because Google search is pretty much crap anyway.

@Stickings90

So how long have I got before Firefox and Thunderbird stop working now. Is there a recommended replacement for a free email client? I need it to run multiple email addresses

@wildbill4496

If Firefox dies and all Chromium based browsers are eventually forced to abandon manifest v2 then there will be no more ad blocking on the internet. Big tech wins and the consumer gets squashed like a bug.

@Sven66368

it went too far. I support a stop of this practice to pay companies for making Google the default search engine. Mozilla has a lot of time now to find other sources of money.

@carloschaparro07

I love Firefox, but at this time and moment, I don't care if they run out of money. Why? Because of the bad decisions and waste of money by Mozilla. Just look at how much the CEO is paid, for example. I'm sure that the project will be continued by other capable people, and if not, then I'll stick with Brave. It won't be the end of the world.
