He wasn't procrastinating, he just gave himself enough time to make his art perfect
Imagine dying 500 years ago, and pretty much the entire world still knows your name, and you have a piece of art that tons of people from all over the world, still travel to see. A legacy doesn’t get any better than that.
Wow! He was a genius, but also an ordinary person like us! And faced self doubt like the rest of us. This was really inspiring. Don’t forget people! Don’t be too hard on yourself!
I just turned 27, I have a bachelor's degree but I still haven't found a good job. In my life I've been diagnosed with ADD, OCD, chronic depression, mild aspergers, gender dysphoria, & sleep insomnia. Most of my past attempts at relationships have been complete failures and then this year I fell in love with someone who I can't be with because our age difference is too significant so we had to break it off and I'm still really sad that the one time I actually meet someone really nice who probably wanted a committed relationship with me and ofc we can't be together because of something outside of our control like our ages. Before watching this video I was thinking the same thing that I'm a loser and a failure in life and I might as well be dead. Finding out that a great mind in history like Leonardo da Vinci understood my struggles and wasn't successful until so late in his life is probably just the thing I needed to hear right now.
"Procrastination is the way of dealing with emotions like self-doubt, fear and anxiety". I never thought about it in this way. Good video! ❤
I now realize that I have a fear of failure, so I procrastinate a lot. Even sometimes I select too many good videos on youtube in case I watch them, but there will be only so many unwatched tabs.
And here I am procrastinating thinking 'I still have time '(until the last minutes before deadline). Da vinci is amazing🔥
I just watched the video. Leonardo da Vinci is one of the Most Inspiring Painter and Personality I heard about. Thank you for telling us his Inspiring Story who always make me believe in Creativity.
As a person who suffers from severe ADHD, this has to be the most uplifting video I've ever watched on YouTube. Now I'll just persist pursuing the multitudinous tangents of interest that I just can't control until I eventually make it, somehow, hopefully. Also letting go and just getting shit done that needs to get done no matter how poor the execution is something I have to adopt and it was touched on so straightforwardly in this video. Big Up ✊🙏
40+ is just the start of an artist’s life, blossom & shine!
He is really the most amazing human being ever existed
Simply put, the most inquisitive mind to ever exist.
Oh my ears are hearing calm sound again! Thank you for motivation!
Dreams without goal is just a dream
If he was alive I'd be like: "Oh my GOSH! Sir, I'm a big fan."
So much needed to hear this now! Thank you! I started my thesis last semester. My university allows 2 semesters to complete the thesis. I worried so much that I passed one whole semester doing nothing. I am still worried and panicking but this time I allocated 2 hours everyday to my thesis. And yes! I do feel a lot better. Still panicky, but better. I have ADHD too, but I think I've managed it a bit with self care.
procrastination is not low self esteem, or anxiety. It's marinading
He was a philosopher of life...like most people of his day. Unlike the people of today.
So many talents Leonardo da Vinci
