If somebody asks you “do you mind if I sit on this park bench?”, and you say “no”, that means you don’t mind.
Instead of keeping things inside say what you feel on the inside. It will shock, scared people but it’s the truth. I rather have someone upset, angry even if it meant a clear conscience on knowing I spoke up I always hated playing the stupid game of
Shoutout to Y'all Introvert bros. This Channel is turning us into Dangerous Beats.Lets keep Going🧗♂️
Youtuber on street : I'm giving away 10,000$ , take it Me: NO!!!!!!
I used to find saying no really hard and felt as tho I had to explain why and give some long excuse. But my girlfriend taught me I have every right to say no and I DONT ever have to explain my self! I’m getting there! It’s work in progress, but I always feel better after! And guys, if someone tries to make you feel guilty for saying no, just remember, you’ve NOTHING to feel guilty for! If there’s people in our yard or I’m wit a few people and someone asks me to go shop or make a brew or sommat, off the bat I say no, followed by telling em (if there’s ppl I’ve not met before) that if I do it once, then most people expect you to always do it. From then on, they don’t ask u again cos it’s pointless! Not to mention, they can do whatever it is themselves!
Stranger: Do you mind if I sit next to you? You: No. Stranger: Thank you so much! (Having a seat) 😂
your example will help me with people on my bus
Thank you handsome internet man
It's good to be assertive without being rude..
Yesterday I asked a guy moving boxes across the street if he needed a hand moving one and he curtly said “no” normally I would that bum me out but I just said “ok” and carried about my day. People can say no, it doesn’t have to be about you.
Lord knows i need to do this.
I needed this bro 💯
Good practical exercises like this are worth about 100 theoretical 'self help' concepts. Thanks.
If you look closely, you can clearly see that he accidentally put “dog” rather than “sh*t” in his username
There's a spider that likes to sleep next to my face. I keep saying fk no when i wake up and move it to a safe place. How can i be more assertive to the spider without causing injury to myself or it? PS: Australian. Its big, but not that big. Jusy enough to ruin my morning 😊
What if they say something nasty that might discourage me from saying no again lol
The worst thing is when they start justifying their request after we say no
Saying NO feels like jumping in a cold shower in the middle of a conversation.
Easiest way to get punched out😅😅😅
