I've personally noticed that when you tell a bad joke, women will often look towards each other as if they're asking permission from each other to laugh at that joke. If they like you they often will laugh. If they don't like you, they often won't. And might even make fun of you. This is why some attractive guys are totally not funny, but manage to make the girls still laugh. While lesser attractive men wonder what's so funny about what he just said.

This also goes for the truly real popular person. People tend to think the loudest person in the room is the most popular but people do this as well for the most respected person. Once the most respected person speaks out, the room goes quiet to listen.. so they don’t need to shout 😎
