Read rethinking health secrets book. Consistency is key!!  Go to bed and wake up at the same time every night; also, stick to the same routine.  Following a consistent sleep routine has literally treated my chronic insomnia, and I don't take baths before bed, eat dinner too early, or use a diffuser.
