The design on this beautiful rocket is just forever engraved in history what a beauty
We all loved the STS program as well as those who tragically lost their lives. Respect and honor given. 🌐
The space shuttles had an amazing style of their own. I also loved watching how they rotated on their own axis at launch.
My Uncle was one of the engineers for all of the space shuttles, now retired he is living off the fruits of his labor in Alabama. 💪👍
Brain overloaded imagining the amount of mathematics involved
If you have a top shelf audio system with dual subs, it will give you chills to hear them engines roar to life. About 80% volume is all that's needed.
Love the shot when the engines are happy, and they converge on the center of pressure of the rocket, just before twang and lifting. All 3 main engines thrust, focused on a single pinpoint location on the stack. Balancing a spinning plate, on a wobbly stick. What most folks didn't realize, is that the SRB'S were ignited from the top, not the bottom. The whole inner length of the SRB's, from top to bottom, were alight with flame and fury, till burnout, for about 2 minutes. Crazy to think about. We were lucky for a long time.
The roll rate was really impressive for such mass!!!
ONE OF THE MOST TECHNICAL. MAN MADE OBJECTS EVERY MADE.
I love the whistling sound of the pumps spooling up!
Space shuttle captured the human imagination like no other rocket, ever.
I miss the space shuttle, was awesome to see as a kid
The Space Shuttles were so freakin cool. That in cockpit view is amazing. A proper space ship.
I miss these launches!
They landed on earth like an aircraft. That’s pure genius mathematics. 🛬
I lived in Florida near the Cape. We used to watch these and other launches (back to Apollo). Ah the memories of my youth
There’s nothing that can be compared. Stunning!
Man this was machine that wow me in my childhood. So many positive comment on this video. Feels good here
Awesome. So many things have to go right. And only one thing has to go wrong.
