Are you more of a ‘see it all’ or a ‘hide it away’ kind of organiser? I’ll admit, I’m definitely the first! 😅 I love being surrounded by my fabrics, tools, books, patterns, buttons, ribbons, laces and trims — seeing those vibrant colours and patterns always sparks my creativity.
I love to organise with open shelves, fabric stacks, and colours everywhere. 🧵
For me, there’s something inspiring about being surrounded by a riot of colour and pattern.
It’s a little wild, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
There's definitely a method in the madness though. Everything (at least when it's tidied!) has its place and a home I think of like creative clutter!
Even though it's all out on display, it must still be tidy and organised for me to feel that clear uncluttered mind space for creativity to come.
But, I know some of you feel most at home in a more minimal, tranquil space—where everything has its place behind closed doors and drawers.
And that’s the beauty of it—there’s no right or wrong way! It’s all about making your space work for YOU. What kind of sewing organiser are you? Let me know in the comments! 💬
