Metal Warriors for the SNES has amazing pixel art, for a cartridge game on a 16-bit 90s console.

Metal Warriors is a video game developed by LucasArts and published by Konami for the Super Nintendo in 1995.
The pixelart on the game still holds up to this day, I was pleasantly surprised. I was just trying out the game on stream on 12/12/24, but I'm going to revisit it someday and do a full playthrough, because it looks too good to pass up.
The game is very hard, only one life, and you get a game over, and only 5 continues.
