Detective Sergeant Ashley Bryant joined the police force to proudly serve and protect the public. It was a job he loved and lived for. He was a good cop with a wife and young family. But like one in five police officers, the things he saw - and the things he did at work - took their toll, until eventually he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD.
Nonetheless, his wife Deb wants you to hear his story - about the appalling way so many police are treated when they suffer mental illnesses as a result of the job, how they’re made to feel like criminals as private insurance companies stalk them and put them under daily surveillance
