After a long flight, welcome to Changi Airport, Singapore. You deserve a big reward for the trip. Let's head to Terminal 1, a big surprise gift awaits you. It's Jewel, a giant indoor waterfall that is just for you.

Jewel is a 10-storey complex that includes gardens, a hotel, 300 retail and dining outlets, early baggage check-in, and aviation facilities. The total gross floor area spans 135,700 m2 with five above-ground and five basement levels. The Shiseido Forest Valley, a five-storey indoor garden, and the Canopy Park, featuring gardens and leisure facilities, are among its attractions.

Jewel had 50 million visitors in October 2019, six months after its soft opening, surpassing its annual target, and receives about 300,000 visitors per day.

Here are Attractions in Jewel:

Number 1. Shiseido Forest Valley. It is one of Asia's largest indoor gardens, spanning five stories and approximately 22,000 square metres located in the heart of Jewel Changi Airport. It houses around 3,000 trees and 60,000 shrubs of 120 species that live in high-altitude tropical forests from around the world.

Number 2. The Rain Vortex
The HSBC Rain Vortex is the world's largest indoor waterfall, standing at 40m high. Rainwater is pumped to the roof and free-falls through a hole at up to 37,850 liters per minute. At night, the circular walls of the waterfall become a 360-degree stage for a light-and-sound show.

Number 3. Canopy Park
Canopy Park, located at the highest level of Jewel, spans 14,000 square meters and features various recreational and leisure attractions. The park houses two gardens: Topiary Walk, which showcases animal-shaped topiaries, and Petal Garden, which displays seasonal flowers. Visitors can also enjoy a panoramic view of the Rain Vortex from the Canopy Bridge, a suspension bridge that is 23 meters above the ground and has a glass panel flooring at the center section.

Number 4. Changi Experience Studio
The Changi Experience Studio is a 3,000-square-meter space that showcases the history of Changi Airport and offers interactive games and displays. Additionally, visitors can take a behind-the-scenes look at how the airport is operated.
