The win was sealed in the 73rd minute when Will Keane converted Andrew Hughes’ cross, securing a historic night for Preston.
Burnley, who had kept nine consecutive clean sheets, saw their defensive streak come crashing down as Preston outclassed them. The Lilywhites now look ahead to the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 1966!
