Installing Debian Linux on Oracle VM VirtualBox

Installing Debian Linux on Oracle VM VirtualBox from a disk image is veru easy when you use the graphic installation menu.
First download the latest netinstall iso (disk image) from the Debian web site. You do not need to burn it onto a physical medium (cd) as the virtualization software (Oracle VM VirtualBox) allows you to load disk images into the virtual cd/dvd drive - you can also load physical media.
A new VM wizard guides you and then you can go and drink a cup of tea (I grew up in England) and before you know it you have a Debian machine to play with.
