In this 3rd episode in the "Surf Faster" series, Noel Salas and his buddies put the Deuce through the paces in overhead surf, at point breaks and push the limits at Waco Surf. Max Hoshino rides the "Deuce" in overhead surf and tests in out both frontside and backside. It really feels stable, and the rails feel good. Asa Cascavilla describes his experience on the "Deuce" as quick and whippy with hold and drive. It transitions really well into the next turn. Noel mentions it takes the turns like a thruster but way faster -- pure twin-fin fun!
Fin wise, Noel likes both the HP Twins and the Pivot Twins that are both available online. Bo Raynor rides the "Deuce" with the MR fins. Noel loves both the EPS epoxy and Dark Arts constructions, but says the Dark Arts feels more explosive than the EPS. If you have yet to get a twin-fin surfboard, the Rusty "Deuce" should be on your radar! Special thanks to Rusty Preisendorfer, the Rusty crew and everyone who helped in the making of an awesome twin-fin surfboard. Enjoy!
