FIRST VIDEO: Bangladesh protesters storm presidential palace as PM Hasina flees country

Thousands stormed the Bangladesh prime minister's residence as Sheikh Hasina's rule ended on Monday. She fled the country following weeks of deadly protests.

The military announced it would form an interim government.

Since early July, Hasina sought to quell nationwide protests against her government. However, she fled after a brutal day of unrest on Sunday when nearly 100 people were killed.
