In this very quick tutorial I show How to use the LOOKUP function in Excel. The LOOKUP function is a good alternative to VLOOKUP. It has the ability to return data from any column that you specify, including one to the left of the column you are looking within.
This is the required function
=LOOKUP(lookup_value, lookup_vector, [result_vector])
