Salutations to you O Bhairavi, who, assuming the form of shivadooti, killed the very powerful demons having great strength, who has a terrific form and loud roar, salutations to you.

Salutations to you O Bhairavi, who is Devi Lakshmi in modesty, great knowledge, and the right faith, who is the essence of sacrificial offerings and of nectar, who is the darkness of the great night, and who is the greatest of Maya Shakti, salutations to you.

Salutations to you O Bhairavi, who is Devi Saraswati in bestowing intelligence, who is Devi Lakshmi in bestowing property and Boons, and Devi Kali in her tamsik form, always be gracious with us, salutations to you.

घोर रुपे महा रावे भैरवी नमोस्तुते।

लक्ष्मी लज्जे महा विद्ये श्रद्धे पुष्टि स्वधे ध्रुवे,
महा रात्रि महा विद्ये भैरवी नमोस्तुते।

मेधे विद्या वरे भूति बभ्रवी महा काली,
नियति तवं प्रसि देशे भैरवी नमोस्तुते।

सर्व स्वरूपे सर्व शक्ति समन्विते,
भये भ्या स्त्राही नो भैरवी नमोस्तुते।

एतते मुखम सौम्यं नयना त्रया भूषितं,
पातु नाह भीति भ्यः भैरवी नमोस्तुते।

भावार्थ :
आपको नमस्कार है हे भैरवी, जिन्होंने शिवदूती का रूप धारण कर अत्यंत शक्तिशाली असुरों का संहार किया,
जो भयानक रूप और ऊँचे स्वर से गरजती है, आपको नमस्कार है।

आपको नमस्कार है हे भैरवी, जो, विनय, ज्ञान और सही विश्वास में देवी लक्ष्मी हैं, जो यज्ञ और अमृत का सार है,
जो महान रात्रि का अन्धकार है, और जो माया शक्ति में महानतम है, आपको नमस्कार है।
