Justinian Goes To War with Persia (Animated)

Rome had a long history of fighting their traditional enemy in Persia. This war was provoked by client states in the Caucasus switching their allegiance from Persia to Rome. The Sassanian's got the better of the Romans in the beginning of the war, but Justinian sent his best general in Belisarius, who won a famous victory at Dara that turned the tables.
