Why do I keep my hair short?
Who says my hair defines who I am? When someone asks, I just smile and share my truth. I’ve found freedom in keeping things simple. With a shampoo that lasts two years, I save time, money, and skip the stress of constant styling.
I’m not lazy or cheap. My hair is my strength—a quiet way of saying no to narrow beauty rules. It might seem unusual to some, but to me, it feels like freedom.
Once, a child asked me, “Are you a boy or a girl?” I wished I could explain that it’s not that simple. You’re just you—and that’s more than enough.
