DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Hundreds of thousands of nucleotides are hooked together to form a chain, and two chains are paired together and twisted into a double helix to form the finished DNA molecule. Many different methods and technologies are available for the isolation of genomic DNA.
Here, we describe a method for the isolation of PCR-ready genomic DNA from zebra-fish tissues.
