I sowed mushroom dowels inoculated with Chicken of the woods and Lions mane mycelium. i drilled 8mm holes into Silver Birch logs and tapped in the dowels. I then sealed with boiling bees wax to seal in the moisture.
i will have to keep the patch moist so it doesn't dry out
