Jab Paandu apni chita par the toh Sahdev ko unki baat yaad aayi aur apne pita ka dimaag nikaal kar jungle ki taraf tod pade. Shri Krishna ne Sahdev ko rokna chaha par usse pehle ki wo kuch karte, Sahdev apne pita ke dimaag ka pehla tukda kha chuke the. Pehla tukda khaate hi unhe bhootkaal ke baare mein saara gyaan prapt ho gaya, doosra tukda khaate hi unhe vartamaan aur teesra tukda khaate hi bhavishya ke baare mein saara gyaan ho gaya. Tab se ise ban gaye. Matlab unhe beete hue kal ka, vartamaan ka aur aane wale bhavishya ka saara gyaan ho gaya.
