One Hour of Quiet Casual Winter Backyard Beekeeping

A day in the life of a backyard beekeeper on the Isle of Newfoundland in February 2024, just before a big snowstorm shut everything down for two days.

This is a boring video for normal people. But for beekeepers with a beginner's mind, it might be filled to overflowing with little "I didn't know that" moments.

Exult in those moments! When we notice something we didn't notice before, even the tiniest revealing detail, it's a revelation. Maybe it's the higher learning that institutions of higher learning could learn something from.

There is learning through being told and there is learning through discovery. I believe the best beekeepers have a natural aptitude for discovery.

In other news, this is a great video for people sitting at their desks pretending to work (you know who are, and I feel your pain), something to casually peck away at throughout the day to break the monotony. I hope it helps.
