TOUR D'ENERGIE TDE RADRENNEN GÖTTINGEN - EINE ERSTERFAHRUNG

The Tour d'Energie TDE is a cycling race in Göttingen and a national event. In this bike race there are two routes of 45 and 100 kilometers with decent mountain climbs and everyone can take part as long as they can manage the minimum average speed of 20 kilometers per hour. E-bikes and some special bikes are not permitted, but in addition to the typical racing bikes, trekking bikes are also permitted.

For me, as a trekking bike excursion rider without a racing bike and with many kilometers a year and as a resident of Göttingen, it's worth considering. I drove both route variants in preparation and took part in the race with the 45 km route. A great experience, even if you're not actually a bicycle racer.
