Using VooDoo Gel Stain to Stain the Top of an Antique Washstand Cabinet

I'll demonstrate how to use Dixie Belle's VooDoo Gel Stain (Black Magic) to stain the top of a sanded-down washstand cabinet top. Voodoo gel stain is a water-based stain that works so effectively and is easily applied. In this video, I'll apply it with Dixie Belle's Mini brush. As I explain at the beginning of the video, after letting the stained top draw, I then applied a coat of White Magic Voodoo Gel stain. The black color deepened the grain and the white toned it down. It looks aged and unique. The cabinet was painted with French Linen color chalk mineral paint. I also used White Wash to bring out the details, flaws, and give it a subtle soft look overall.
