【 eTraffic Ticket • Traffic Ticket Digitalisation and eTraffic Ticket Platform 】

The Hong Kong Police Force begin to issue electronic traffic tickets via the e-Contact Means verified by Transport Department, i.e., Hong Kong Mobile Phone Number or Email Address with effect from 15th June 2025. In order to assist the adaptation of the public, “Dual-Track” Transitional Arrangement will be adopted by the HKPF in the initial stage. This means in addition to the issue of e-tickets, paper tickets will also be printed and issued to the offenders at the scene. Offenders may choose to pay the penalty by e-tickets or paper tickets.

The Hong Kong Police Force launch the thematic portal and mobile application of the “eTraffic Ticket Platform” on 15 June 2025 simultaneously. The penalty can still be paid by traditional means, in the meanwhile, the public can also check the details of the tickets and pay the penalty by e-payment through the platform anytime and anywhere.
