LEMON GINGER RASAM 🍋🫚
INGREDIENTS
Toor dal- 1 /2 cup
Turmeric -1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds-1 tsp(For crushing)
Pepper- 1 tsp(For crushing)
Ginger-2 inch (For crushing)
Oil- 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Green chillies -3 or 4
Dry red chillies - 2
Curry leaves -1 sprig
Asafoetida -1/2 tsp
Tomato -2
Coriander - 1/4 cup
Salt -1 tbsp
Lemon -1
Grated ginger -1 inch
PREPRATION
▪️In a kadai add oil , mustard seeds, green chillies,red chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida , crushed ginger and saute
▪️Add chopped tomatoes and fry until it turns mushy
▪️Add cooked and mashed toor dal , water as required
▪️Add salt and Bring it to one Boil
▪️Add grated ginger , chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame .
▪️After 4 to 5 minutes add lemon juice and give it a mix .
▪️Serve with Hot ri
