Initially, I had planned an 11 miles circular hike up to Pen Y Fan and down the other side. Sadly, due to a water shortage and upset stomach, I had to turn this hike into a 6 mile circular. But it does mean I can come back again to revisit this hike in full. My new water bottle system was a success, and today was the first time I had hiked in 70% Merino Wool socks vice double layer socks. I found it made a huge difference.
