Candy Bleakz is the undisputed “Queen of the Streets”. She is an eccentric indigenous, who stands out due to her fiery energetic rap style, as well as her quirky, unique looks and hairstyles. The rapper started her recording career in 2013 after voicing her first official single titled, “Blessing Sky” in 2013. Candy went on to catch public attention when she won the best upcoming act at the African Shrine during Felabration 2016. She also finished as the first runner up at the Lagos Got Talent Competition 2016, and was the best female artist 2017 at the Annual University Crest Awards. In 2017, she became the first lady of indigenous rap group, Street Billionaires and in 2020 officially got signed to Africa's Biggest Music Company; Chocolate City Music as a solo artist. She has quickly established herself as a mainstay in the music industry, garnering a growing fanbase, as well as a hit record with over a million views on YouTube in “Owo Osu” featuring Naira Marley and Zlatan.
Her first single, "Tikuku", produced by two-time Grammy winning producer, Rexxie set the pace for a successful career to come. In 2023, she followed up with "Wale" and its subsequent remix starring Simi off 2024's Better Days EP.
