GBO2 Striker Custom: Victory or Death!

This video contains three recent matches I had with the LV1 and LV4 Striker Custom on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 450-600 cost raid with access to three melee weapons, knuckle beam daggers with incredible combo power, a spark knuckle that can heavy stagger, Explosive Reactive Armor, Offence System and most of all, access to the Demon Blade skill which can temporarily massively buff your mobility and melee damage. Its weaknesses include having pitiful ranged damage potential, a weak instant stagger, poor mobility outside of Demon Blade mode, no dodge roll without Demon Blade mode, a reliance on landing longer than normal combos alongside it being useless once Demon Blade ends. I don't even know how I managed to deal this much damage in all three games, the third game in this video has what I think is my personal high score for damage dealt in GBO2, period. I hope that you enjoy watching!

The primary ranged weapon of the Striker Custom is a beam rifle with 1500 power, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 90% heat, 17 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 300m range and 10% stagger value. This has poor stats across the board but it at least instant stuns. You will be using this to safely start melee combos.
Its primary melee weapon is a pair of beam knuckle daggers with 1800 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 95%/90% combo modifier and 90%x2 downswing modifier. These have poor base power, but they can do ridiculous damage in 3 hit combos. If you land a three hit combo on a support in Demon Blade mode, it will probably be enough to kill them or nearly so.
Its first sub weapon is a common late type vulcan with 67 power, 498 DPS and 2% stagger value.
Its second sub weapon is a spark knuckle with 1500 power, 8 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and 250% downswing modifier. This only has one swing and long cooldown but has insanely high downswing modifier. It also heavy staggers on normal hits. It is hard to land on knocked over enemies, but you can use the heavy stagger to help stagger loop enemies while doing beam dagger combos, or you can go straight into the spark knuckle downswing for burst damage.
Its third sub weapon is a pair of beam sabers with 1500 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 75/35% combo modifier and 145% downswing modifier. These don't deal much damage on their own, but they can still hurt a fair bit thanks to the Demon Blade melee damage boost. They are crucial if you want to keep combos going. The neutral swing is relatively fast and it also has good reach, so it is your best choice for raw melee when it comes to it.

The LV1 Striker Custom has 15000 HP, 21 ballistic resist, 15 beam resist and 28 melee resist. The HP is low but your other defensive stats are above average. You will be focused down and destroyed in one combo by the overtuned generals of 450 cost if you mess up though. You have LV2 Maneuver Armour as your primary defensive skill, you also have Explosive Reactive Armour and LV1 Offence System, but no dodge roll.
It also has 130 walking speed, 200 boost speed, 55 thrust and 60 turning speed. Its base mobility is awful for a 450 cost raid but this drastically improves once you active the LV1 Demon Blade System. It is activated via the touchpad and lasts for 75 seconds total. This adds +15 walking speed, +10 boosting speed, -50% thruster consumption, +40 turning speed, +30 melee modifier, upgrades Forced Injector from LV1 to LV3 and adds LV2 Emergency Evasion. This comes at the cost of your head and legs breaking once the timer runs out. Proper usage of this skill is key to mastering the Striker Custom. It is easy for generals to handle you if you don't have the skill on, but improper timing with it will leave you running out of time at a bad moment. So the trick to this suit is activating it at such a time that you will have time to repair once it runs out or to be destroyed before it runs out. Your power and mobility in this mode become so great that you can win fights vs generals, you also have the explosive melee damage to quickly defeat the support and then escape.

In conclusion, I feel that despite being an old suit, the Striker Custom can completely dominate the match if you wait the right time to go on a rampage with Demon Blade. Ideally, you dive the support (or supports), as long as you take them out, you have done your job, but after that you can harass their generals, and if you are lucky after that, get another kill on the support before it respawns. Hopefully you will die around then, so you can respawn and do it again. It is an all or nothing suit, you cannot hesitate. I think it might get buffed because it is a very hard suit to use, but I don't think that it is necessary. Thanks for watching and I hope that you enjoyed it!
