Today I went to the first Japan Parade in New York City!
I was happy to be able to experience Japanese culture in New York, even though I was only able to see a little bit of the parade at the end because I participated in the middle of the event.
I was happy and proud to see people of many nationalities wearing yukata and kimono, anime T-shirts, eating delicious Japanese food, and enjoying watching the parade as Japanese people.)
