Python For Biology: An intensive, 15-hour, online course.

Python for Biology is an intensive online course that has been tailored for biologists with little or no experience of writing code. This is NOT a video course. Its five, weekly 3-hour sessions are taught LIVE by instructors who are themselves biologists with decades of experience using Python in life science projects for clients ranging from new startups to large government organizations.

All of the examples and exercises in the course demonstrate real world examples of the use of Python in life science research, and the aim of the course is to give a biologist enough of a foundation in Python to be able to use it in their own research.The course is taught entirely online and all of the Python coding is done in the web browser. All the student needs for this course is a computer with a good internet connection.
