Vet-to-Vet Café on How to Meet Veterans’ End-of-Life Needs

The engaging session featured representatives from the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services and focused on best practices and real-life examples of how to meet the special needs of Veterans and their families through the end-of-life journey. Discussion topics included the differences between service-connected and non-service-connected disability, the importance of medical nexus letters, benefits of grief counseling and bereavement support, plus much more.
