While the clock's ticking for those last minute transfers in the football world, here at WMP, we’re keeping our doors wide open for #recruitment.

Whether you're just starting out and dreaming of a career in policing, or you're a substantive officer looking for a change of pace, we want to hear from you. We're building a diverse and dynamic team, and we need players with all sorts of skills and experience to join us.

We offer six different entry routes to becoming a #policeofficer, so there's something for everyone. From formal qualifications and graduate schemes to practical police training and detective pathways, you can choose the route that best suits your ambitions.

New recruits join us on a starting salary of £29,907, regardless of which route you join, and this will increase with yearly increments meaning you can earn over £48,231 within seven years - or more if you are successfully promoted.

And if you've already got some experience under your belt, even better! We're looking for substantive sergeants, firearms officers, and #police constables to transfer. Ready for a new challenge? WMP could be your perfect match.
