I enrolled in the Horizontes Aviation Academy in San Pedro Sula to become the first Japanese cabin crew member in Honduras. I have to learn in 24 hours what normally takes 8 months. They teach me how to operate the doors, slides, radios, trunks, seat belts, and service carts. I have to give announcements, safety demonstrations, and respond to numerous emergencies such as fires, baby deliveries, troublesome customers, and water landings.
