How Long to Monetize YouTube? (Monetization Challenge Week 1)

Want to know how long it takes to get monetized on YouTube? In this video, I'm kicking off a 90-day YouTube monetization challenge to find out.

I'll share analytics and insights weekly as I work to reach 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time to qualify for the YouTube Partner Program.

I've had some past success with a YouTube SEO strategy of targeting search traffic, which I used to get 10,000+ views on one video.

Now I'm applying those lessons to see how long to monetize YouTube from where I'm currently at.

Currently I'm at 438 subs and 814 hours of watch time, or about 30% to the monetization threshold overall.

Actually, the bigger goal is to optimize my processes to create a month's worth of content (4 videos) in just one week through automation and outsourcing tasks like editing.

I'll be posting regular updates sharing exactly how long it takes to get monetized on YouTube and all the steps along the way.
