This an unusual situation. I had to combine 5 medium frames of bees with less than one frame of bees that have a virgin queen. I know what I would like to happen, but I don't know what's will happen.
UPDATE: I spotted the virgin queen but she didn't make it back from one of her mating flights. I suspect she got eaten by a dragonfly.
