There was a time when I called myself a Christian, but my life told a different story. I went to church, prayed occasionally, and even quoted scripture—but the fruit of my life didn’t match my confession.

Behind closed doors, I still clung to worldly habits, justified behaviors I knew didn’t please God, and lived in a way that didn’t reflect His holiness. I thought I could straddle the line—claiming Christ while holding onto what the world offered.

But here’s the truth: you can’t serve two masters. The Word of God pierced my heart and exposed my sin, showing me that true faith produces real change (James 2:14-26). God didn’t just want parts of me—He wanted my whole heart, my whole life.

Today, I walk in the freedom of true surrender, and I no longer have to carry the weight of a double life. 🙌
