More Frames 🟰 Less Input Lag (Mostly)
You might think that using DLSS or any upscaling technique when running games adds input lag due to it costing some work for the gpu to do the upscaling. However it’s usually the opposite. If turning on upscaling gets you A LOT more fps than running native, then you will have less input lag because more frames are being generated based on your inputs.
This is different from frame gen though, since frame generation is NOT based on your inputs, it only makes the game look visually smoother and actually adds input lag vs running native or with normal upscaling.
Have you used multi frame gen since its announcement?
