Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations Across India: Special Prayers, Protests & Political Presence

Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across India with grand enthusiasm and religious fervor. In Lucknow’s Aishbagh Eidgah, special arrangements were made for women to offer Namaz. Due to overcrowding, some devotees in Varanasi’s Jama Masjid had to pray on the stairs. In Bhopal, people protested against the Waqf Bill by wearing black bands while offering Namaz. In Trichy, prayers were held on the streets. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar attended the Eid event at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, while BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain prayed at Delhi’s Parliament Street Mosque. IEMC chief Maulana Tauqeer Raza emphasized that offering Namaz anywhere is their right.
