"In ancient times, the universe was divided between the Devas, upholders of dharma, and the Asuras, seekers of power. Guided by their guru, Sage Shukracharya, the Asuras gained immense strength, including the Sanjivani Vidya—the power to revive the dead. However, their ambition often clashed with Lord Vishnu, the preserver of cosmic balance.
During a grand yagna, Vishnu disrupted their plans, leading to Shukracharya cursing him: 'No Asura shall ever worship you.' This curse, fueled by the Asuras’ pride, turned them away from Vishnu, aligning them with other deities like Lord Shiva. Yet, amidst this enmity, Prahlada, the son of the demon king Hiranyakashipu, proved that true devotion transcends all barriers, becoming one of Vishnu’s greatest devotees.
This timeless tale reminds us of the balance between ego and humility, and the divine's embrace of pure love and surrender."
