Ukulele Play-Along: Kookaburra sits in the Old Gum Tree

"Kookaburra sits in the Old Gum Tree" is an awesome song that comes from Australia. It has an interesting chord progression that repeats over and over for the entire song, and it's a chord progression that we see in a lot of songs that use the notes Sol La Sol Mi- so it's a good one to learn.

To help players practice more chords for the same song- the second half of this video is in the key of G, using the G and C chords. Feel free to play along, but don't try to sing it like that unless you want to turn into a frog... that is my real voice singing it though... but I am sort of like a frog.
