Join us for Sunday service with Cathy Merchant on February 23, 2025, at Canadian Memorial United Church. This week’s sermon, "We Were Made for These Times," will explore the story of Esther and her courageous stand against tyranny. Esther’s bravery in overthrowing Haman’s plot to destroy the Jews reminds us of the power of faith, justice, and resistance in the face of adversity.

In a world that often feels uncertain, how do we find the courage to stand up for what is right? This sermon will challenge and inspire us to embrace our calling to resist oppression and act with faith.

This service will also include a special baptism in the first half, celebrating new beginnings in our spiritual journey.
